As Chief Marketing Officer, Hughes is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of Central Logic’s marketing and visibility initiatives.
Hughes takes over the marketing function at a momentous time, as Central Logic aims to build on its track record of enabling some of the nation’s largest and most respected health systems to grow revenue, reduce patient leakage and, in general, improve timely access to care. Reporting directly to CEO Angie Franks, Hughes, along with his team, will drive revenue growth by increasing sales through effective marketing, using market research, pricing strategy, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations.

Since 1994 Hughes has served in a variety of healthcare industry leadership positions, including: Chief Marketing Officer at Upsher-Smith Laboratories, Inc.; Business Development Manager at Medtronic Neurological; and Chief Executive Officer/Chief Operating Officer at JG Viventem, a pharmaceutical startup company that he cofounded. Among his many core competencies are strategic planning, market development, communications and public relations, change management, field sales deployment and marketing automation.
