Central Logic Launches Nationwide Workshop Series to Educate Healthcare Executives about Value, Benefits of Patient Flow Management
Industry-Leading Patient Flow Software Developer to Host Free, Half-Day Workshops in Major Markets to Review Operational, Financial Efficiencies Created by Patient Throughput Strategies
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — January 26, 2011 — Central Logic, the healthcare industry’s leading provider of innovative patient flow software and consultative expertise, today announced the introduction of its national “Leadership in Patient Flow” regional workshop series, a collection of free, half-day seminars exclusively designed for C-level healthcare executives, business unit heads, department managers, and other hospital professionals with responsibility for overseeing patient throughput processes and programs.
The series, which begins next month in Miami, Fla., and continues through the end of 2011, will be held every month in major markets throughout the country. Each five-hour event will discuss best practices, technological advances, and efficiency improvement concepts for hospital and healthcare system managers evaluating patient throughput strategies for their respective medical organizations. Additionally, each workshop, to be led by a cross-functional team of senior Central Logic executives, is a fully interactive, discussion-driven session that provides valuable information related to patient flow, a relatively new healthcare business concept and set of processes that effectively organize and facilitate acute care patient movements.
“Over the past two years, Central Logic has witnessed a seismic shift within the healthcare domain regarding how hospitals and large regional medical centers strategically manage patient flow, and how integrally important these activities have become to care delivery, operational efficiency, and financial success,” said Darin Vercillo, MD, chief executive officer of Central Logic, and a practicing hospital physician. “To meet the growing demand for much-needed patient flow best practices, we have developed the ‘Leadership in Patient Flow’ workshop series. Simply stated, healthcare leaders have told us they want to get a hands-on opportunity to know more about managing patient flow processes and how they can benefit their organizations, and this comprehensive program delivers precisely that.”
In addition to informative presentations by and discussions with Central Logic associates, workshop attendees will also hear from well-respected industry peers who have devised and implemented concrete patient flow strategies and supporting programs, to great success, in their medical organizations.
