Job Description

Central Logic is a proven innovator in healthcare technology for hospitals. Our fast-growing company is
currently seeking a professional Business Analyst to join our expanding team. The successful applicant
will be responsible for analyzing, gathering and creating technical documents and manuals; explain
complex information in a clear and concise manner; collaborate with product management and various
internal stakeholder groups to ensure content accuracy. If you have previous experience as a Business

Job Responsibilities

● Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information
into simple, polished, and engaging content
● Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience
○ Write PRDs in close association with product owners including business cases
○ Write user stories for product enhancements and assist in maintaining product backlog
○ Write ‘release notes’
○ Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
○ Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
○ Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts
○ Maintain a comprehensive library of terminology and documentation
○ Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including
research, usability tests, and design specifications
● Maintain documentation
○ Manage updates and revisions to documents
○ Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement
○ Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
● Assist product managers with gathering and analyzing product-related market drivers,
competitors and product feedback
● Active participant in agile development teams
○ Work closely with product managers, scrum master, engineering leads and QA
● Maintain clear and open communications with product managers
● Product team advocate
● Assist in user story completion validation
● Contribute in meaningful ways to capitalize on new opportunities

Desired Experience & Skills

Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text
and pictures
● Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
● 2-4 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer using a variety of media
presentation platforms
● Proven working experience in software technical writing
● Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
● Proficiency working with SDLC and documentation tools including:
o Aha!
o LucidChart
o Google Suite of office products and other documentation tools
● Experience in healthcare operations and/or technologies including:
o Interfacing (HL7, APIs, FIHR, etc)
o Data Standards
o HIPAA (Privacy)
o database schemas
o organizational structure
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Excellent organizational skills with competing priorities
● A good personality for a team-based work environment
● Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
● Experience working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine
content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content


● A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant technical field
