Job Description

Central Logic, a leading provider of innovative Transfer Center, On-Call Scheduling and Command Center solutions to 400+ hospitals, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to conceptualize, design, and build data analytic and predictive solutions that integrate into Central Logic’s cloud platform. Your primary role will be to accelerate the company’s efforts to provide actionable and impactful data analytics that will provide meaningful insight, and drive decisions that will change the industry and improve patient care. You will work extensively with existing customer data sets to produce data visualizations, reporting, insight, and predictive analysis to improve customer decision-making. This role includes the freedom to creatively search for and create meaning behind the data available, as well as search for and integrate other meaningful data sets.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Collection, filtering and cleansing of data

• Managing data storage from various sources into a single data lake

• Identifying meaning behind data that drives behavioral changes

• Developing, incorporating, validating, and enhancing statistical, comparative and predictive analysis models

• Creating and driving scientific processes

• Managing data intelligence projects

• Collaborating with senior management to develop solutions that drive company strategy

• Writing code and algorithms necessary to produce desired output

• Optimizing and tuning performance

• Participating in incremental design and architectural improvements

• Pair with other data scientists, including off-site teams

Desired Experience & Skills

• Five or more years of experience designing and building data analytic solutions

• Proficiency in working with different modeling techniques.

• Experience with distributed and large data architectures

• Work includes the analysis of structured and unstructured data

• Proficiency working with R

• Experience writing code in Java, C#, or similar middle tier development models

• Good verbal and written communication skills • Working knowledge of relational and non-relational database structures

• BS degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent program
